Petzl E-lite 1 1
Good for in-tent and general safety use Although it's listed on the Petzl website under "head torches", it really isn't one. It's a fine torch for other uses, though - I got it for lighting inside a tent at night. It's not as bright as most head torches, so less risk of accidental temporary blindness if you look into it. Good fixings, and the on/off/brightness/colour switch is a nice combo of easy to use intentionally, while hard to alter accidentally. I think an earlier version of this Petzl product had a built-in slide clip (for fixing it to, for example, a book cover). This version doesn't. If I could ask for one improvement, I'd ask for that feature back. (Which is what I mean by ticking the "underfeatured" box) 27 January 2014
