Scarpa Vapour V
great mid range technial shoe that doesnt stretch out.
I have been using these shoes for a few weeks and I am very glad I bought them.
I had reached a point where my old entry level shoes where not enough. Also they would stretch out after an hour to the point where I couldn't climb some routes which I would normally be able to.
A friend reccomended this brand and when I spoke the staff at Snow and Rock they also pointed me in the directiobn of this shoe. After trying a few different brands these are the ones that fit my foot shape the best. They have a strong quality feel to them, are as comfortable as you cab expect to get with a climbing shoes with great tactile rubber. Scarpa are now my go to brand for shoes.
I would like to point pout again how little they will stretch (like not really at all) bare this in mind when trying on, particularly in you are used to other brands.

A definite step up from my previous pair, though I am probably still to get the best out of them
I was looking for a new pair of climbing shoes for indoor bouldering, after my first pair had finally worn through (literally a gaping hole in the bottom of one of them).
I tried a tight fit in store (1 size down), but they were barely wearable and the store did not have half sizes so I went for my normal shoe size, even then they were very snug - the heel sucked in to the back of the shoe and there was no wiggle room in the toe box.
One tip (might be applicable to all new climbing shoes that are yet to wear in) - don't do them up as soon as you put them on, walk around for a minute or so on the mats, this seemed to help my feet find a comfortable position in the shoe before cinching up and I can climb the whole night without many problems.
They are a definite step up from my previous pair of climbing shoes. Toe plants are more positive and there is a great shape on the back for heel hooks. They give me the confidence to push up on some of the smaller (tiny) footholds; my previous pair felt like flip flops in comparison.
I can not say much about their durability for the timebeing, but they are still maintaining their shape and stiffness despite my over-average weight and use (two months x 3 nights per week).

I would buy these shoes again.
Very good fit and reliable performance, great all-rounder. And also the leather inner of the shoe is very nice.

This rockshoe was a great step up from my Evolv Defy's.
Normal shoe size 9, and Im wearing a 7 in the Vapour's. Really snug fit and great overall shape- I have a slender foot, the toe box is a great shape. Edging is really good and the shoe is a good intro to more aggressive style, letting me improve my performance on overhang's.Velcro +elasticated sections give a good tight fit.
And its Bright Orange, whats not too love

Great all rounder that performs well and lasts
I bought the Scarpa Vapour as I was looking for a climbing shoe to give good performance but was not so focused it could not tackle slabs. They did just that, climbing Trad on slabs (where I unnecessarily faff and take my time over thinking) they coped beautifully without crippling my feet. On steeper sport climbing it was not lacking either. My only complaint was that the rubber did does not fully envelop the heel leading to some painful heel hooks. Overall I was very happy with the shoes and the thing that I most liked about the Vapour is that they lasted well.
