Sportiva Men's Nepal Evo GTX
I have a narrow heel and need a big toe box because of toe joint arthritis, this boot does the job well, the high cuff holding the heel secure, so no heel lift and yet has plenty of toe wriggle room and a flexible ankle. Altogether feels very stable and comfortable, although I am using a size bigger than my normal shoe size. This will make for greater warmth too.

Really comfortable boot, great choice
I am very pleased with the boots that I just bought from snow and rock, I also bought a pair of salmon gtx. The customer service I received was excellent and the staff were very helpful and made sure I was very relaxed in the shop, I will be visiting snow and rock again very shortly. Thank you for your service.

Awesome boots, I love them, quality is superb, these boots would survive a missile strike with just minor scorch marks! their first outing was 4 long days in the cairn gorms this winter, temps were down to -5 with 20-30 mph wind chill, no problems with cold, they are hefty B3s so walk-ins are a trade off but tbh it was no big deal and after 4 days and 40 odd miles my only blister was on the front of one shin where i'd done them up a bit tight one day. they fit my petzl sarkens perfectly (size 47 evos just fits sarkens with the standard bar) and climbing is definitely their forte. expensive but highly recommended.

Winter walking, ice climbing or alpine walking Sportiva Men's Nepal Evo GTX's are great all-rounderâs enabling to tackle most things that you encounter up a mountain.
As with any B3 boot they are stiff which requires some getting used to as they are stiff, but once you have adapted to walking in such a stiff boot this becomes an advantage.
The inner sole is ok but when spending £300+ you would expect a moulded inner sole which most ski and snowboard boots are able to do at this price bracket. Although you can purchase a superb SuperFeet inner sole from Snow and Rock.
