Great looking but the leather needs to be worn in for comfort I had other mammut shoes and they're great. These look particularly pretty all in black leather, you can walk miles and still look good for city use. Personally I'm still struggling with wearing them in - they hurt at the base of the big toe, where the shoe bends when walking. I still need to wear them with very thick socks even after weeks of use. 15 September 2014
A nice sturdy plain shoe Design nice and plain - hard to find in sturdy walking shoes - and the customer service was light-touch but knowledgeable. 30 June 2014
Good but watch out for the heel Great shoes but watch out for the back of your heel, as it took a little time for this to wear in - which cost me a bit of skin and a few plasters. 24 February 2014
Mammut Men's Tatlow LTH A quality pair of shoes. Well made and comfortable. Excellent grip and good ankle support. I can highly recommended these shoes as trekking/approach shoes. 03 February 2014
mammut tatlow lth Out the box the shoe's worn for the 1st time was perfect fit walked for 3 -4 miles with a light backpack very comfy... I also have the north face verso plasma vibram soles that also felt the same as the above... out of the 2 its a hard choice and to early to say so ill have to cont- to use abuse and put them through some ruff pace.. for some reason i think the north face are better built but the mammut's have got more class to them... thats my and mines only view.. northface = £70 mammut = £90 sale from £120 27 January 2014
Disappointing endurance Unfortunately what appeared to be a great shoe initially, which is why its been given a good rating for performance, within 2 months the sole has become detached, rendering it useless. is there a guarantee for this shoe? Should I return them to the shop in Gateshead? i am answering on behalf of the wearer though I purchased the shoes for him so the profile below relates to him not me 19 August 2013
Great Shoes At Snow & Rock, James was able to help me find the right shoes from a shoe company that has been in the outdoor business for quite a while. He said they have always had good quality products that have been translated to their shoe (trainers) business. I wasn't disappointed! 03 June 2013
A trail or a catwalk If my foot was a hand this shoe would fit like a glove. It is smart enough to be worn with leisure slacks in the best of company. It has the spring and grip to allow for ventures in rough trails. The simple stitching gives a smooth finish and cleaning is easy. 05 December 2012
