Hilleberg Nallo 2 GT Tent
Superb 4 season comfort for two, without excessive weight or packed size.
First used in Nov 14 in the Cairngorms for 3 night wild camp. We experienced wind, freezing (-7), rain - all without any issue at all. The inner is just big enough for two with full-size mats and winter down bags. As I'm 186cm another 10cm would be nice, but not essential. The lobby vestibule is large enough to be useful without adding unnecessary weight or packed size. Easily pitched and depicted solo (can be done in under 5mins) and can be pitched with inner attached (and in my case also foot print attached). Overnight condensation builds up, but I know of no tent that doesn't. ventilation option is good and mean that condensation never a problem. Easily sorted with a sponge upon waking. Looking forward to next trip and exploring options of opening vestibule as a porch.

You get what you pay for
You are probably like me and recoiled in horror when you saw the price of the Hilleberg tents but I am well and truly converted. I have seen cheaper alternatives perform next to my Hilleberg Akto and my Nallo Gt and most of the time you will not notice much difference. But if the weather takes a turn for the worst you will see the difference when you need it the most. The attention to detail is evident and you can see that the designers must be avid users of their tents.
The Nallo GT is perfect for all conditions as it is very well ventilated for summer and is secure enough for windy and snowy conditions. It is very lightweight for such a big tent and doesn't sacrifice strength for weight.
The tents keep their value too so if you look after it it will look after you.
