Rab Storm Bivi

Rab Storm Bivi 4 5 1 1
Good bivi bag for the price. I used this bag in sub-zero temperature on a summit. I had the bag completely zipped up to provide a bit extra warmth. There is a mesh around the top of the bag meaning that whilst condensation does build up, the air supply is still fresh. The condensation never became too big a problem, and I doubt any bivi bag would stay condensation-free in sub-zero temperatures. I put my Exped Synmat UL7 sleeping mat inside the bivi bag, and space was a bit restricted as a result, causing the down to flatten near my feet and consequently I had slightly cold feet. The Synmat UL7 is 7cm thick however, which is thicker than normal for a sleeping mat. Overall this is a great bivi bag for the price and I have already recommended this bag to a number of friends. 12 May 2014
