almost perfect! The rucksack has a lot of positive features - the pockets are particularly ggod, the waterbottle pocket and the top pockets for sunglasses goggles and valuables etc. The middle avalanche gear pocket is also good. The only negatives are that the main pocket to stash dry extra layers, can do only that - so the configuration means that it is almost impossible to put a helmet in the bag, for example. or if you wanted to put ski boots inside the bag, its not expandable enough but on balance this isnt that important. theres no back "ventilation" system really. 10 March 2014
Excellent backpack with lots of compartments. Use this as a day pack and think it is great! I use it for cycling but comfortable enough for day trek too 14 April 2014
Arcteryx quality at Arcteryx price I bought this pack primarily as a ski pack but also wanted more general travel use from it. The relatively plain looks appealed on that front. As a ski pack it replaces a 10 year old Dakine heli pro and i have been very pleased so far. The tear drop design works really well when skiing - keeping weight low and the separate shovel / probe compartment is well thought. I carried two pairs of ski's with ease and appreciated the two smaller front pockets giving me the ability to keep goggles/glasses away from multi tool/wallet etc. The helmet attachment also functions adequately. If I had any complaints it would be that the main compartment is fiddly to access as a top loader and has limited access through the side. Plus, the hip belt has clip points a little too far back to make attaching gloves easy. So this pack will not replace my climbing / mountaineering packs. It's purely a ski/travel pack. Overall the quality is what you'd expect from Arcteryx (good zip closures/solid construction) and I have been pleased so far. 08 January 2013
Exceeded expectations I loved so many different things about this bag. The bag was seperated into different compartments, which meant that it was easy to keep track of where things are, the fit of the bag is great and is really comfortable. The colour is awesome and really allows you to stick out on the slopes. The downside is the cost of the bag, but you really do buy a quality product which in my mind is worth the cost. 14 January 2013
