Never fails to light my fire
I bought the robust and durable Primus Power Lighter on the recommendation of the guy in the Dundrum shop and am wholly delighted that I did. Over many years of outdoor activity I have used a multitude of fire/stove lighting devices - from patent 'windproof' matches, through flints and steel, to domestic gas lighters. All have let me down at some point. In contrast the Primus Power Lighter never fails to work, indoors and out, through gales, through horrendous downpours. The 300C flame gets even a wood fire going in no time. I even used ther PPL to caramelize the topping on a creme brulee, cooked on a Trangia stove in a tent at Electric Picnic - how good is that? I gave my first one to my daughter and bought another, now used daily to light the woodburner in my living room.
