Osprey Poco Plus
Quality product, VERY easy to use. No faff involved!
Fab product, we tried a few for comfort, but decided to go with the Osprey as a trusted maker of quality kit. The major benefit of this carrier is the ease of use of the features such as the sun shade. There is no faffing about with poles, just pull up and attach into the buckles. Our daughter finds it so comfortable that she regularly falls asleep in it and can tolerate a good few hours in the carrier. We bought when daughter was 7 months old and nearly a year down the line she is just as happy. Thoroughly recommend!

A great carrier for getting out and about.
This is proving to be an excellent all round baby carrier. Having really looked around we decided to buy 2 of these to accommodate our rapidly growing 6 month twins. We had previously used front carriers but were beginning to struggle with shoulder and back ache, so were specifically looking for a carrier that would carry the load on the hips rather than the shoulders etc. These seem to do the job perfectly!
The carriers have wide, adjustable hip straps that almost wrap around your body, holding the carrier neatly on your hips while the well padded shoulder straps can be adjusted too. An added bonus is the torso length adjustment which allows the carrier to be custom fit to any adult size. This is an easy adjustment to make and means the carrier is suitable for tall or shorter adults.
Once set up, adding the child is easy! The carrier has a comfortable height adjustable seat and foot stirrups for older children. The child is secured by well padded straps over their shoulders and the child compartment (which is made from mesh like breathable material) can be tightened or loosened around them. Although we haven't needed to use it yet, the integral sunshade will hopefully prove to be invaluable through the summer months. It stows neatly into its own compartment and is quick and easy to put up and down.
The carrier is designed with excellent storage and stowage compartments although the front mobile phone pocket is not big enough for an iPhone or similar. There is a large zip storage space at the back which can be used when the foot base is open.
In all there is very little negative I can say about this carrier. Although it cannot magic away the fact that you are carrying a small child on your back, it does make the job as comfortable as possible. We have walked extensively on the South Downs with these and are really pleased with our purchase.
