Rated 5 out of 5Â by A_Ski Great Features perfect fit
I was really keen to find a ski touring bag that would fit a female build ( lots that i tried on seemed too big). This Bag fits really nicely. The pockets on the hips are great for putting snacks sun cream etc.. and the separate pockets for safety gear and personal gear is really useful and works well when on the mountain. The way skis clip on for hiking up is easy to use and feels secure when walking. This is a well considered well designed bag.

It was chosen because it scored top marks for style, construction, comfort, weight, and capacity for my needs. While it is a pro-ski pack, I wanted mine for the purpose of lugging a load of photography gear and a full size tripod around town. The pack coped perfectly â accommodating a couple of zoom lens, fully frame camera, flash, assortments of accessories, waterproofs and most importantly, the tripod slung on the outside like a snowboard. I am 5â11â and slim-build. The harness, with tweak straps on shoulders and waist, allows for fine tuning the position of the pack to a snug fit around the body. The considerable load therefore feels nicely dispersed across my body which makes walking around for hours with the gear on my back feels very comfortable. The sizing and thickness of the padding feels perfectly proportioned and did not cut into the body when move around. Overall, the pack feels robust enough to manage a heavier load that what my photography gear.
The material of heavy-duty rip-stop nylon and abrasion resistant PU panel â with the bonus of a very nice pattern on it - will no doubt fend off some serious abuses. The detail of stitching, zip-pulls, compartments, finishing etc are of gold standard. As for the feature list, it is best to head for the Osprey website for a look as it is too extensive to list them here. Admittedly, the pack is for use on the slopes, but from my experience, this pack dwells happily in the city as well.
The Osprey Kode 22 (M/L size) meets all the specifications and criteria of my needs. It is styled with form and function â well done Osprey!
Hustle free, smooth transaction, online purchase from Snow+Rock. Glad they have the option to âcollect at a storeâ as it is a cost and time saver. Made the purchase in the middle of the night, 0200hrs, and it was ready for collection at the Covent Garden store at 1800hrs the same day. The store manager responded very quickly to my email enquiry about the collection. The store and the backpack have been most helpful and useful - 10/10.

All the pockets and storage required for a day off piste. Space is used very efficiently as was afraid the 22 would be on the small side. It is in fact perfect. The clips are easy to use and the built in back protector is an added bonus. The backpack is so comfortable to wear you almost forget it is there well that is when not fully laden with skis, helmet, water, food supplies..... need I add more.
