Does what you would wish for. This cover has helped save my belongings from getting soggy on my commute & many mountain biking trips. I use it with the Osprey Raptor 18, the fit is pretty good. I was worried that it was going to fall off the bag, but a firm pull of the elasticated drawstring seems to keep it in place. The bag also has a handy loop for mounting a small light. 28 November 2012

Nice piece of kit but missing one essential feature I already owned one of these covers, but in dark grey. I often forget to pack it so I thought I'd buy another so that I can leave one permanently in each backpack. A high-viz one seemed a good move. However, when I went to use it, I found the press fastener which clips behind the pack wasn't there. For me this is essential - it holds the cover in place more effectively and stops the cover being blown away. I assumed it was a one-off fault but on returning to the store found the whole batch was the same. Interestingly, the dark covers all had the clip, so I swapped it for one of those instead. Apart from that, the item is excellent and performs as intended. I can't quite see the value of the mesh bag but, in any case, it takes up little additional room.
