The Mountain Hardwear EV2 is a 2-person single wall welded design tent that is ideal for high altitude mountaineering or extreme conditions. The Conduit FR fabric provides improved breathability for better performance in wet conditions, while the Atlas Scandium XL poles can resist high winds and heavy snow. The EV2 also features the Evolution Tension arch, which uses panels of low-stretch fabric along the pole connection arcs to reinforce the pole structure and stabilize the tent in three dimensions. Finally, watertight door zippers and a zippered snow port enhance the watertight construction, and 4 welded and adjustable flysheet mesh vents provide ventilation. Maintains breathability and shortens drying times. ATLAS SCANDIUM XL POLE SYSTEM: Dual diameter system made using strong scandium Aluminium resists high winds and heavy snow. Uses cold forged connectors and special shock cord with threaded aluminium tips. Narrow and light in the middle, wider at primary stress points.
