Lightweight excellence The Javelin Jacket is a great close fit but you don't feel restricted. Its so light you hardly notice it. It's quiet windproof considering how light it is. The hoods a great fit and very adjustable. Very pleased with this purchase. 31 October 2012

Glossary

EXOlite I:Mountain Equipment's own brand fabric is a stretch woven nylon that doesn't have a membrane, wicks very well and dries extremely quickly should it become wet.
EXOlite II:Non-membrane fabric that is hard-wearing, very water resistant, breathable and stretchy.
Wick/Wicking:The act of transferring moisture from the skin to the outer layer of a garment quickly and efficiently, where it evaporates. Provides a drier more comfortable environment inside a piece of clothing/equipment.
