great boot great boot, sturdy and comfortable. Moulded to my feet very quickly, my feet never get cold or wet and i have no blisters either. I have done about 20 miles so far. I would recomend these to anyone who loves walking. 22 January 2013
Superb Mammut Hiking Boots Love the rock motion and fantastic support. No metatarsal pain. No blisters. Tough enough to get me to the Hornli hutte on the Matterhorn. 6 days on the trot and didn't want to take them off. Probably will use in Winter in Zermatt instead of Sorels as such good grip. 24 August 2012

Glossary

Nubuck Leather:Classy and robust full-grain leather with slight sanding to create the characteristic velvet appearance. Depending on the required finish, Nubuck can be waxed, brushed or left untreated.
GORE-TEX? Performance Comfort Footwear lining:A membrane/lining that offers durable waterproof protection and is moderately insulated for changing conditions. It provides the optimal combination of breathability and insulation to keep feet warm and dry, even in unexpected weather.
vibram? MT-Traction sole:Backpacking sole with high tread depth, and proven Mammut Rolling technology with flexible ribs.
Motion Control:This patented Mammut technology is an anatomically shaped heel cap which prevents the foot from twisting outwards by means of a reinforced interior. It also enables lots of flexibility forwards and backwards, despite high lateral support.
Memo Foam:Guarantees an individual fit using pads on the instep, shinbone and ankle.
Rolling Concept:Patented Mammut sole concept with customized support and cushioning to support natural foot roll, and thus prevent fatigue.
