Lifeventure Cable Lock
Lifeventure Cable Lock 2 2
Essential security investment The overall look & feel of the product is cheap, however that's just the appearance so don't be fooled by it. Sure it is a light duty product which provides light security, but that is all you really want on the mountains whilst you consume a meal or a drink. It functions as well as any in the over 8 pound but under 16 pound category. The gripe I have is that you must first take your gloves off to rotate the dials else you end up rotating the dials besides the one you actually want to. If your hands are freezing cold its also difficult to turn the dials, but this is a downside to all compact locks on the market in this price category. Perhaps it the dials were not so flat faces and they had a sloping edge with a peak in the centre of each dial then is could perform better. For the price you are unlikely to get a better value product in the UK. 26 March 2013
