Lib Tech T.Rice BTX Pro Split 12/13

The T.Rice Pro Splits takes Travis' X-Games winning board, incorporates Horsepower construction into it and then takes a chainsaw to it, cutting it right down the middle to give you the splitboard of your dreams. As with the regular T.Rice, the Pro Splits uses Lib's C2BTX construction - which combines Magne Traction with the best features of Banana Tech and camber profiles - as well as all the other goodies found on Mr Rice's favourite ride. However, the ultralight Horsepower construction really makes a difference when you're climbing in split mode, with the basalt fibres adding torsional rigidity for rock solid descents.

Glossary

C2BTX:Power Banana/Camber Combo tech & Magne Traction. Rocker between your feet blended with a radial camber to contact points. Focuses pressure between your feet for easy turns, great edge hold on ice, and max pressure at the tip and tail power, end-to-end stability, pop, max control and float.
Magne Traction:Conventional skis and snowboards have two contact points. Magne-Traction boards have seven and deliver better edge hold! Control and turn initiation come from under your feet, not a foot and a half to either side of your feet, so when your two outside contact points lose grip, you've still got five more to take over!
Columbian Gold core:Made using sustainable, fast growing farmed woods, the Columbian Gold core is 30% lighter and has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any core Lib Tech have ever produced.
Basalt Fibres:Made from Basalt - a volcanic rock. Additive-free and less toxic than conventional fibreglass.
Bio Beans sparkle top sheet:Lib Tech has made a commitment to using a new earth friendly, bio-plastic top skin made from beans that features the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any top sheet in the industry.
Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls:The same futuristic power 90? pop technology from Lib Tech's world record setting skateboards and power transfer spines, only this time they have placed it along the sidewall of the board to add board control to their sandwich construction. Stronger, more pop and more control brought to you by their woodshop.
Double Sintered UHMW Sidewalls:A Lib Tech innovation. Twice as sintered as any other sidewall. Tough, handsome and light.
Sintered UHMW Base Material:Super tough base material that holds wax well due to its compression formed amorphous polymer structure. Super fast when waxed.
