Merchandiser - Ski Equipment - Head Office

Two new roles have been created for Merchandisers to work alongside the Snow + Rock Buying team based at Head Office in Guildford.

The main areas of responsibility are:-

  • To lead the effective management and planning of inventory to deliver the sales, stock and profit plans for the fascia whilst managing intake and markdown to optimise cash flow.
  • To work with the Wintersports & Outdoor Clothing Buyers to create, plan and deliver a range which maximises sales and margin.
  • To manage the flow of stock into the warehouse, controlling inventory levels and open to buy.
  • To guide the allocation and replenishment process and recommend action to improve.

The successful applicant must have advanced knowledge of MS Excel together with strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal). Thorough knowledge of Lhotse integrated supply chain system is preferred. Previous merchandising experience is required.

You must enjoy working as part of a team and thrive under pressure with the ability to prioritise and work on your own initiative with a strong desire to drive continual improvement by developing and implementing new systems and work processes.
