Inov8 Women's Trailroc 236
perfect long distance trail shoe
My ultra running friends had already recommended Innov8 to me, so I trawled through numerous reviews and recommendations to find a model to fit my needs: great over long distances, great on trails, reliable and comfortable. I chose Trailroc 236 as my first pair of trail shoes and couldn't be more happy! Wearing them feels like i dont have any shoes on - they are super light and great over mud, sand and rocks.. I did a 53mile ultra a week after receiving them and got no rubbing or blisters of any kind. I have small feet which swell on long runs. With this model, the toe box is quite narrow. I ended up getting a whole size bigger than i usually wear and they fit me perfectly.

Good trail shoe
I purchased these when they were on sale, and I'm very happy with them. Being a newbie to trail running, these didn't break the bank, (just in case I decided it wasn't for me..) and they are comfortable on more random terrain due to stiffer soles. They are also very lightweight- I didn't want to feel like I was wearing walking boots. The only issue I have found is that I got a few blisters on my first couple of runs- solved by double-socking.

first pair of trainers that don't hurt my toes
Great shoes. I'm always dubious about new shoes as they can take a while to bed in but these were great out og the box and the first pair I've ever bought that don't hurt my toes.

great for hiking and running
I am happy with my new Inov-8 Trailroc.. They have survived 21km Bromo Marathon, climbing Mount Bromo at 2329m, Kawah Ijen at 2799m and Mount Batur at 1717m.. All within 9 days.. I have no issue with them and really recommended it.. :)

Great for running
These shoes are narrow across the forefoot and the toe part has a slight curve to the inside. Very comfortable running with mid foot strike. Very comfortable across a narrow heel. I bought a size larger than normal shoe size but this is normal for me for running shoes. I have marked 'good' rather than 'excellent' because there is room for improvement in quality and feel they are over priced.
