Icebreaker Women's Tech 260 Long Sleeve Half Zip
Superb quality merino base layer
Seemed like an expensive purchase at the time but well worth it for light breathable warmth.

Nice garment, horrible colour
Why oh why does this only come in black? Some of us look terrible in black. I've got something similar which is superb but I would never buy this. I'd only recommend it to someone who liked black. Come on icebreaker - get colourful, you can do it.

Thin but super warm
I bought this for a Christmas ski trip to Norway. Unsure as to how many layers I would need I opted for this merino wool midlayer which I teamed with my ski jacket and a base layer. It made a huge difference when on chair lifts and with higher speeds when ski-ing. I am not warm-blooded by any stretch of the imagination but this top made me feel warm and did not bulk me up - I.e around arms / waist. It doesn't look like much but it is a great essential addition to my ski wardrobe. Other fancier options do exist!! Basically a great buy - made my ski-ing trip!! (Temp was below -20 on several days)

I purchased this after finding that the Pace half-zip was too snug in my regular size. The color is rich and lovely and the fit is perfect. It's not loose, nor is it "body-con". Just a simple flattering cut.

I love the comfort and smartness of this Icebreaker. It is so warm and convenient. Really like the vents at the end of the sleeves that allow you put your fingers through.

camping, cross country skiing, etc
I bought this for my wife mostly for camping and cross country skiing and it is perfect. It is a great base layer for skiing and camping. It is also nice enough to wear casually around the house or for trips to the store. The fit was her normal size and fits her well.
Oh, and she also loves the thumb holes.

excellent thermal layer for super cold weather. Very beneficial for coastal sailing in winter.
