This is not my first icebreaker. The fit is spot on and comfortable. I first purchased an icebreaker for cooler days but it can be worn any time. Outstanding as a base layer when combined with fleece and soft shell and cut to give freedom of movement. Good articulation and long enough not to ride up your back. Easy to wash, no pilling, and maintains its form. I rate merino wool over any man made material as it does not promote BO if that is a concern. All round winner that can withstand abuse. I have used other brands and this is by far the best.

I used this as an extra layer under my dry suit for scuba diving in Scotland recently where the sea temperature was 10 C. Worked very well, light weight, warm and no smell.

Very good quality product. Not cheap but lasts well so worth going that bit extra.

Almost perfect product (it would have been perfect if it was a bit cheaper)

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Shunty Great products for skiing
Having been advised by Snow & Rock that this was the best product on the market, the price initially put me off. However I took there advice and I am glad I did. 2 weeks of skiing in old weather and I was as warm as toast. A good buy.

Expensive but an unbeatable base layer. A very small negative is that its a bit loose around the wrists.

Wore this, along with matching leggings in temperatures between -7 and -37, for one week... taking it off at night. Stayed comfortable, odour and moisture free and contributed well to my survival!
