Fantastic lightweight one person tent. Very quick and easy to pitch in all weathers. Plenty of room and good design features and very good quality.
Packed this tent is fairly small and easy to fit in a rucsac. My first pitching from the bag using no instructions took 7 minutes to the point where it could be used. It is worth spending another 5 mins adjusting the guy ropes to get the tension and shape correct. Once up put in a clove hitch on all the guys at the pegs as this then allows you to adjust each one without affecting the other. There are ten pegs in all, 4 at the corners of the ground sheet and 6 outer guy ropes points. After the first pitching, having fitted the inner and the foot print ( a worthy investment I might add) I have not separated the three items since. Leave it all together and then pitching the tent the next time could not be simpler, especially if it is raining, a real practical bonus. With the footprint fitted getting in and out of the tent in wet conditions is much easier and allows you to put stuff outside of the inner without it getting wet. Getting in and out of the tent is not very easy and is one of the design flaws of the tent. The fly sheet door when opened drips water onto the inner and footprint and does not clip back properly and the clip is a fiddle. The same goes for the inner door and you can get in a bit of a mess if you are trying to get in quickly during a downpour. Once in side there is a good amount of space and cooking inside the fly sheet in bad conditions is possible. Condensation after a nights sleep can be a real problem so use the zipped vents on the fly at all times to reduce this except in extreme conditions. Use the fly sheet door vent as well.
Taking down the tent is so easy and quick that in a hurry and with practice you can have it down and folded in 4 minutes if dry keeping the flysheet, the inner and footprint all connected.
Overall a really good quality tent that is simple to pitch in all conditions and I would recommend it to anyone despite the flaws I have mentioned.
