The Helly Hansen Women’s Freeze 1/2 zip is a great baselayer that slips under your jacket or fleece. It features Helly Hansen’s HH Warm fabrication system, which combines Lifa T3 technology and Merino wool. HH Warm places Lifa T3 next to the skin for optimum moisture movement and Merino wool on the outside for insulation, warmth and comfort. It also features an eyelet structure on the inside, next to the skin and has a high volume airy overall knit, both of which maximise air trapping and insulation. In addition, the Freeze has a half-zip for warmth and ventilation, and flat-lock stitching, which reduces the discomfort caused by rubbing.

Glossary

Lifa T3 technology:It has a soft skin feel and features a synthetic hollow core construction that traps heated air inside. It also moves moisture at the same time as it insulates.
Merino:Wool from Merino sheep that provides good insulation, durability, odour resistance and moisture control. Soft and itch-free, it is ideal for base layer garments.
Wicks/wicking:The act of transferring moisture from the skin to the outer layer of a garment quickly and efficiently, where it evaporates. Provides a drier more comfortable environment inside a piece of clothing/equipment.
