Does what it says on the tin! bought this for my North Face Down coat which isn't waterproof and was getting soaked on my shoulders specifically! I was a bit skeptical at first, but it certainly has been doing the job. It does wear off with us, ie swinging your arms, putting a bag on you shoulder, so you do have to reapply. It stinks at first, but once it's dry, that smell goes away. 08 January 2013
