I wanted to my GoPRo to my DSLR, using the DSLR's hot shoe. In order to keep the lens and lens shade out of the picture, the GoPro had to be mounter above and forward near the end of the lens. It works.

I got the GoPole arm about a month ago. I got back from vacation and couldn't wait to use it. I mounted it on the visor of my Shoei helmet and went in the woods for some trail riding. I was blown away with how good this thing is. It doesn't flex, or bounce when your riding. Love this product and cant wait till next weekend to use it again. Thanks boys!!!

This is such a fun addition to go pro products. I usually use one arm at a time but it gets such cool points of view. Definitely happy I got it.

I use this product for downhill mountain biking.
I have the original banana shaped GoPole extension but found it too short. So I purchased these thinking they'll be just as good as the original but longer. Oh how wrong was I.
The plastic is too flimsy to use a Hero3 in the position you advertise, looking back, and the screws are terrible. You need to make one pole of this length made of the same material as the old one and have two point to mount it to a helmet. Only then will I buy this product again.

I used this product once for snowboarding, after the first run in noticed it was cracking at the joints due to the flimsiness of the product. Despite this I was still pleased with GoPole's customer service whom immediately sent me another one.

I bought the arm about 2 months ago and was amazed at how stable and how big of a improvement this was over the first Model! Firstly the arm can be locked into multiple positions, this is a major advantage over the first version as it results in smother footage. However if you want to mount it without it locking into place it is just as easy by putting the thumbscrew into the other notch. the mount is also more flexible which i was a bit worried about when reading reviews but it is NOTHING to be worried about as the mount is still VERY strong and i have never had a problem with my footage from it. It also has 2 arms instead of one and has three Hi-Torque Thumbscrews which are soooo much better than the GoPro thumbscrews because they have a small wedge shaped corner on them which is a great help in tightening the thumbscrew. I am very impressed with this mount and would recommend it to anyone that wants to get the camera off the thing they are mounting it too.

I've owned and used this product for over half a year now and am both impressed and disappointed with it. The thumbscrews / nuts are often a bit of a struggle to make up and even with the notches to lock the two arms together, the stability of the shot is not great. I find that I generally only use the one arm to position my GoPro a little further away, opening up the shot.

I primarily use this for ski jumping and downhill skiing and it works fantastically. It is simple and provides phenomonal angles. My only gripe is that it shakes a bit at high speed. But other than that, it's amazing.
