perfect for the job! exactly what i wanted, light dependable sports quickdraw. clips easy, and is light for a sports quickdraw and so far havent been able to fault DMM quality. plus the price at the moment is great! 10 June 2013

Light and versatile Bought these for my 10yr old daughter, she finds the wiregate at the rope end much easier to use, important when you're hanging off the wall with one hand. You can easily swap the bolt caribiner for a silver Spectre 2 wiregate and you've got yourself a trad quickdraw. Plus they're on offer at the moment... 08 April 2013

The Shadow is a classic sport climbing biner – strong and robust, as well as being light and easy to handle. It has a clean nose closure to reduce snagging when you are clipping or unclipping. There is also a handy thumb grip on the gate for easier operation. The normal Shadow Quickdraw pairs the Shadow up with the Shadow Bent Gate – this is the best option for the majority of single pitch sport routes. However, there is a lightweight alternative designed for multi pitch sport routes, where saving weight is an issue. The Shadow/Spectre 2 Quickdraw has a Shadow at the bolt clipping end of the quickdraw and the lightweight Spectre 2 at the rope clipping end.
