DMM have manufactured this series of biners from a new alloy which when combined with their I-beam hot-forging technology gives even greater strength - the Shadow features a massive 10kn gate open strength.

The Shadow also incorporates a new keylock nose to avoid the biner snagging on the bolts, or the rope. This is particulally useful when stripping steep routes or when the biner is used for racking gear.
