Devun Walsh has been a professional snowboarder longer than most and knows exactly what makes an awesome board, so he needs a board that will absolutely meet his needs on the mountain. His board of choice uses DC’s new Microcamber that blends small camber zones just outside the bindings with a flatter raised middle section. This gives the board big pop, energetic response and the stability Devun needs for putting down enormous landings and powerful riding. Every other feature of this board is focused at high level riding, from the radius to flat nose and tail for improved powder float to the 7200 Sintered Structurn Base for superior glide. Glossary
| Anti-Camber technology: | The board is flat between the feet and curved away from the snow either side of the feet. The PBJ has the most anti-camber profile and shortest flat spot in the DC range for a more playful and forgiving ride. |
| Slugger core: | A solid poplar core with pre-bent ash hardwood stringers inserted that follow the board edge to increase durability, dampen vibration and stabilize the board. |
| Camber Core tech: | Adds an arch-shaped profile to the wood core giving the fibreglass a bridge-like geometry. This arched fibreglass shape is integrated into the anti-camber zone to give boards more pop and added resistance when flexing the tip and tail. Also gives anti-camber boards the stability of a trad camber board. |
| Radius-2-Flat tech: | Features flat surfaces at the tip and tail tat provide lift in, powder, while the radius blends in perfectly with the sidecut to create effortless transitions form edge-to-edge. |
| 7200 Sintered Supreme base w/Structurn finish: | A low friction base that absorbs wax easily and is durable for longer lasting tune-ups. It is also exceptionally fast, firm and super wear resistant. The Structurn finish uses a series of small dimples on the base to break water tension allowing the board to glide faster and turn easier. |
| Carbon Quadrax laminate: | 4 directions of glass fibres are woven tightly together to give a board a smooth riding and stable feel. Dual carbon fibre bands run for tip-to-tail for maximum power and control. |
