Uncomfortable Try these out in the shop first, they are very tight and uncomfortable. I got the correct size according to the size guide but I think they are supposed to be a tight fit. I only wore them one day and won't wear them again unless I'm trying out new things in the park. 16 April 2013

Ouch! On your backside again? If you have ever been boarding or skiing and have fallen on your backside then you will know it is pretty painful! I have, numerous times at high speed which is why I decided to get these shorts and I can tell you they make a big difference as the padded armour strip in the middle really absorbs the shock you feel going through your coccyx when you land on it. And the padded cheeks also help to cushion the impact! They also have the same padded armour on the side which would be beneficial for skiers. The material is elasticated and perforated for a good fit and to help keep you cool, but you will have to hand wash them as the armour is fixed and not removable. I would say definitely worth purchasing! 02 April 2013

Stopped a bruise or 2! I wore these shorts during a recent holiday, where we spent a considerable amount of time in the park. Once you got used to having them on, they were comfortable and caused little restriction to movement. I had a few impressive falls during the course of the week and whilst I still came away with some bruising, I was definately glad to be wearing them. I suspect I would have had many more bruises, and those I got would have been much more painful (and colourful) had I not been wearing them. I didn't notice these being advertised as unisex and the fly front indicates that they are designed for men however, I had no problems with them. If you are a 'hippy girl' I would recommend trying on first as there is hard padding on the sides of the thighs which may affect how they fit. 02 April 2013

this product is great for Motorcycle riding underneath dragging jeans I bought this product as i am a motorcycle rider and i like to wear dragging jeans in the summer although these jeans have Kevlar protection i was looking for something a little more protective to wear as-well. My Boyfriend has a pair of these so while we were in snow and rock i saw a pair and tried them on they felt comfortable and fitted nicely under my jeans. 19 February 2013

Much improved over the '11 model I owned the '11 shorts too and these evo shorts are better in that :- They have a fish net type material for the lower leg which makes no change to your body heat. The thigh ends have silica grippers to stop them slipping The jock has an entry to it so you can go to the toilet without having to pull them down The sizing and waist banding is better and seems to stay well in place. The '11 models I seemed to be forever pulling up. These I realy did not notice I was wearing them at all. 100% improvement over the previous model for sure. Well recommended for anyone wanting this protection! 19 February 2013

Very good product. I bought these impact trousers for my girlfriend, after we tried many of them out there on the market. We decided on this one. Impact trousers designed for women are ...well....too soft ...too womanish. Girls are more fragile than men, so they should have even better protection. This one seemed the right one. ...and it is! :) Very hard, very well padded! Stays firm in position all day, no twisting no sliding. The ventilation is good. Comfort is well above acceptable. Recommended for either gender. Fit it before you buy! 10 February 2013
