Exactly what I expect from Columbia. Awesome!!
These pants are something else! They are wonderful in every way, I'm 6'2" and wear a 33" waist, they fit me great with room to layer underneath for when it gets below 0 Fahrenheit. The gators work very well and the leg venting system works excellently, I was recently in 9 degree weather with about 15mph wind sustained and up to 30mph gusts and the wind didn't touch my legs which was surprising to me as these don't have the wind block technology that I'm aware of. The omni heat insulation along with the dots keeps you toasty and at a perfect temperature until you start doing vigorous activity (which is what the venting is for). I wear these pants all the time and just can't get enough of them. I WOULD recommend these to anyone that asked. Worth every single penny, great job Columbia!

Great for just about everything!
When can the weather in Minnesota turn colder?!? These pants are great for just about any kind of activity! So far, I've only tried hiking once with these pants following a snowstorm that rolled through (at the time of this writing). I felt great with the temperatures hovering around 25 degrees Fahrenheit at the time. There was one occasion on that hike, though, where I felt like air was coming in through the leg vents, even though the zippers weren't open. I'm going to try a few more hikes with temperatures returning to something more seasonal for December and see how things work out. Other than that, the boot gaiters are working out great to keep drafts from coming in from the underside of the legs. The Omni-Heat material inside really does a tremendous job of keeping my legs toasty when I'm walking straight into a howling wind, too! And, the adjustable tabs on the waist help to seal in more of that precious body heat.
I bought these pants in a medium size. For being 5'10" @ 165 lbs., these pants fit nearly true to size. I think the pants are just a little wide in the legs, but this provides room for some layering, which is always important when dressing for cold temperatures. I have a 32" waist size, and the inseam on this pant measures approximately 31" (I personally have a 32" inseam -- this size pant will fit almost perfectly if you have these measurements, and then combine with either a winter boot or ski/snowboard boot).
I almost want to make it a New Year's resolution to try some downhill skiing with these pants this season... maybe I could even have an epic snowball fight with my sister!
I'll come back to update this review as I find out more about this really cool (I mean warm...) pant!

Best Snowpants Ever
The most lightweight, warmest pair of Snowpants I have ever bought.

Warm, but not durable
Light weight , warm and incredibly comfortable, but... They ripped after just 2 days on the slopes. Disappointing as I spent £200 on them and expected a lot more.

I bought these for my son. He loves them. Very versatile temperature range. Has vents for when you warm up. Blocks the wind and keeps you warm on cold windy days yet very lightweight.

Larry Skied Them
Great pair of pants. Warm and fit well. Skied two freezing cold 18 degree weekends and these pants were the bomb.
Thanks for making such a great line of clothes at a very reasonable price.

Cold outside, warm inside
I had the opportunity to snowboard down in Chile in August and September and wanted to upgrade my kit to fit the maritime climate down there. Got a pair of these and glad I did! These worked perfect down there, kept me warm when the wind was howling, kept me dry when it rained at the base, and was breathable when the sun was out. Columbia got the fit on these perfect (for me anyway) at 6' 165lbs the mediums couldn't fit any better.
If looking to upgrade your gear, look into these for sure. Great pants make for a great time in the mountains. Looking forward to the season...pray for snow!
