Great value for money, excellent beginners choice
Good quality and quite comfy climbing shoe. The fit is not too tight, so it's perfect for beginners.

These were such a great purchase, especially as a first shoe. With plenty of cushioning as well as a snug fit, they are great to climb in!

These shoes seemed to fit me perfectly having wide feet the laces gave a lot more adjustment where it was required! Loving them so far

I'm a total beginner and find these shoes to be great. I wouldn't say comfortable (they are climbing shoes after all) but I took them to the Peak District this weekend and they gripped everything perfectly. Easy to get on and off too because of the laces style - just slightly more effort than Velcro.

What an incredible shoe.
When I first clapped eyes on the Boreal Joker, I felt something within me stir. It's striking azure hue drew me straight towards it, despite it's competitors clamouring for my attention.
The incredibly helpful sales assistant talked me through some of the main features of the shoe and I just fell in love, but not with the sales assistant, with the Boreal Joker.
Trying it on in the shop only confirmed what my instincts were trying to tell me. This shoe was a revelation in footwear:
1. It's got a great lace up system.
2. Really sticky sole.
3. Comfortable padded tongue, perfect for prolonged comfort on those long climbs.
4. Good heel cup.
5. Just a wonderful all-rounder.
When, trembling with excitement I finally reached home with my new purchase, I knew I could never go back to another shoe, not unless they were ripped off my feet in some cruel jest by a greater power.
