Boot Bananas Boot Bananas
Handmade by an independent UK producer and does a great job. They keep my climbing shoes smelling fresh, look great, and even turn brown when they're saturated. Highly recommended.

These are a must for any frequent climber!
I had a big problem with my old climbing shoes, often loathing the thought of taking them off. I had tried many things without much success to combat this but nothing ever worked. when I bought a new pair of climbing shoes I decided to give these a go and they work great! 9months along the line of climbing 8 hours a week and they actually smell nice (like citronella) these are a good investment

Great value for money, love it!
Brilliant for climbing shoes, keeps them smelling fresh at all times plus keeps the shape of the shoes. Highly recommended for everyone who is climbing often, especially when its hot. Will buy again.

Does what it says on the tin
Bought these together with my new shoes (Scarpa Vapors, review elsewhere on the site...hopefully).
Leaves the shoes smelling fresh and dry everytime.
They come with a small carabiner, which comes in handy for carrying the shoes around with the bananas inserted in them.
Mine are yet to ripen (they supposedly change colour as the absorption materials wear out), but they seem to be holding up well for the timebeing.

They do actually work, and seem well made.
They do what they say on the tin. They seem robust, although they weigh a fair bit, and if your shoes are already ripe this won't be an instant cure.

These boot bananas changed my life
I am a skeptic of most new flashy things - the internet, sliced cheese, high-frequency trading and certainly Boot Bananas. In almost all cases my suspicions have proven correct. In the case of the Boot Bananas, I was wrong.
Never have I been more happy to be wrong. These Boot Bananas have turned my climbing shoes into an olfactory experience. I used to climb for fun - now, I climb just for an excuse to savour a quick whiff of lavender and tea tree oil as I gently carress the Boot Bananas' rugged fabric exterior for a few moments as I zip up my shoe bag.
If you don't already own a pair, you need to take a long hard look in the mirror and seriously re-evaluate your life because you haven't truly lived.
