The Black Diamond Heavyweight Liner GLove can be used on its own or as a liner with gloves in the Ascent series. Made using 300g of Polartec Power Stretch fleece, it has a full leather palm with Kevlar stitching, a knit cuff to seal out the weather and silicon-imprinted fingertips.
Glossary:
- Polartec Power Stretch:
- Fleece fabric with added Lycra for 4-way stretch and maximum mobility. Its abrasion resistant face protects from wind, while the interior wicks moisture away from the skin.
- Kevlar:
- A para-aramid synthetic fibre developed by DuPont in 1965. It has a high strength-to-weight ratio, 5 times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis, and as a result offers exceptional protection.
