Very nice set of gloves. You know you're getting quality with black diamond and these gloves are no exception. Warm, waterproof, breathable and a fit that enables you to do most tasks without having to remove the gloves. The Oil Tac palms are grippy and tough, and the dark colour is practical. I've not had a chance to use these on the mountain yet, only for hiking and photography expeditions but I have no doubt that they'll be great for touring and mountaineering, as well as a good spring glove for alpine skiing. 05 December 2012
