Bioskin DP Wrist Skin Right
Really good support
I am a young OAP who has seen the best of fitness sometime ago, so why am I buying a wrist support from Snow and Rock? I would love to say I have booked a Snow boarding holiday but truthfully I have an arthritic wrist and need a suitable brace to wear under gardening and chainsaw gloves. I was recommended to try a Skiing/Snow boarding specialist by the Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon. I went to Snow and Rock in Croydon, met a very helpful young lady who directed me to the Bioskin DP Wrist Skin. I tried it on and got instant support and relief so I bought it on the understanding if it would not fit under my gloves I could return it. It fits perfectly both with and without the gloves. I have several different supports some via NHS and some I have bought but none fit and give pain free support like the Bioskin. It does what it claims and I am buying a second one as a spare. Heartily recommended.

Just what the doctor might have ordered
Having broken my wrist six weeks before my annual ski holiday I was really worried about how I'd protect the fracture and not risk any further damage. The NHS-supplied splint was too cumbersome to use so, after some research, I decided to order the Bioskin.
It definitely did the job and gave me the confidence I needed to get on and enjoy the skiing. I wore it every day and wasn't conscious of it at all. It felt very comfortable, and the material used around the thumb is lovely and soft so there's no discomfort.
At first I was worried it might be quite bulky but I was still able to get a glove on, and it doesn't make your hand/arm sweaty â and I was skiing in warm April conditions!
The splints are removable (I didn't bother with the dorsal splint) and the whole thing is adjustable. I ordered the small, which may have been slightly snug, so if you're ordering online and your measurements are on the cusp of the sizing guide get two to try!

It does what it says on the box.
I have had to wear the support several times now and find that it does what it says if not better. I had the brown hospital one before and that was not that comfortable and ended up sweaty and smelly, but this support is very adjustable so aids comfort and due to the materials used is hard wearing on one side and light and comfortable on the other.

One of the best supports I have tried. It is also very comfortable to wear which is a big plus.
