good fit but not waterproof Bought these for the British music festival season, good fit and I liked the 3/4 length zip - easy to put on over wellies. Unfortunately they are not waterproof, would be ok for a light shower, but after 20 mins heavy rain my trousers underneath were soaked. 31 July 2012

The Berghaus Women's Deluge pant is a waterproof overtrouser that feature Berghaus' own AQ 2 durably waterproof and breathable fabric, as well as a dry mesh and nylon lining. In addition, it has an elasticated waist with a drawcord, and 3/4 length side leg zips that open from the top and bottom for ease of use and venting.

Glossary

AQ2™Designed for use on the hill; it offers good waterproofing, breathability and is lightweight. AQ2™ offers a moisture vapour transmission rate (MVTR) of 8,000g/m2/24hrs, meaning that moisture vapour can easily escape through the fabric enhancing overall enjoyment of the outdoors. AQ2™ provides a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm H20 column ensuring the fabrics remain waterproof and the end-user protected from all but the harshest weather conditions.
DWR:A finish applied to a fabric that will bead-up water on its surface to stop it soaking into the fibres. This maintains breathability and shortens drying times.
