I bought a Berghaus Paclite jacket to go with my Paclite trousers. The fit of the jacket is what Berhaus say so don't expect larger or smaller - try it on before purchase. It then needs careful wearing as, although tough, the material is quite thin and can rip on sharp rock. It is however extremely waterproof, lightweight, packs very small, and breathes well. This quality equipment does an excellent job, so it doesn't come cheap.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Paul6766 A great lightweight jacket that looks good and performs well, but on the expensive side !
Only bought this thinking it was in the 40% sale Slush and Grit had on. However, nothing I had tried came close, so bit the bullet and paid up. Its performed well so far, but I'll only be truly happy if it lasts 10 years like my previous Berghaus

I needed a replacement waterproof jacket for my last Berghaus jacket. This is even more portable, light and well-fitted and is absolutely ideal for my daily commute by train and bike. Snow and Rock did a price-match with another retailer's online price so I got a great deal too!

I bought this jacket for when i do the "West highland way" in May 2014 and got it reduced at £128.00. I want a light-weight jacket so that i can put on layers accordingly underneath as Scotland's weather is so unpredictable. I wore the jacket to test it in quite a heavy downpour and, as you would expect with gore-tex, it didn't let me down. Packs away nicely in the stuff sack and has large pockets too, hood is more than adequate and im confident this jacket will stand up to all that the Scottish weather can throw at me

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Mike62 very light and packs down tidily
I haven't worn this in severe weather yet, so can't comment on its perfomance against rain, but it's very neat, very light and packs into a small bag for carrying. It's exactly what I was looking for and it's hard to find any equivalent from other manufacturers - at least not in Goretex.
