Brilliant product These trousers are a perfect product and to quote another products catchphrase 'they do exactly what it says on the tin' within minutes of a shower of rain they had dried out thoroughly recommend these whether casual or serious walker 09 April 2014
Great all-round performance I've been really happy with these trousers. I use them for hill-walking in all weather. During the Summer they ventilate really well with the zipped leg panels, which keeps you cool even on very hot days. They will shrug off any showers and I've only needed to put waterproof trousers over them in the most torrential rain. After a shower they are very quick to dry, most of the water will bead, and run off. In the Winter they are warm as long as you keep moving. Although in very cold weather you might need an extra layer over the top. 25 February 2014
Initial thoughts are good I like the cut and feel of these trousers, could be worn smart casual or on the hillside. I like the water resistance and kept the wind out. I would have liked leg pockets instead of the leg vents given a choice. 16 February 2014
Walking trousers Sturdy material, nice fit. Lacking usable side pockets by the thigh above the vents. 07 February 2014
Good general walking trousers for most occasions I have a pair of these already and just bought a second. They are very comfortable and light, wash well and dry quickly, have a little bit of stretch and fit my legs well compared to other trousers I have bought that flap around below the waist. Great in all but very wet/cold weather where you might want more protection. 30 January 2014
Men's Ortler Walking Trousers A good, durable product. The only draw backs were the colour was more grey than black, (but as pictured), and the zips to legs aren't pockets, they are simply mesh-lined air vents, which felt a little pointless. 06 January 2014
A great all rounder These trousers are great, I can wear them in such a large range of conditions. From walking in a cold Yorkshire to trekking in a hot Vietnam and Thailand they always me at a comfortable temperature. The elastic cord at the bottom of the legs is good for keeping out a chilly wind or bugs in the tropics or for fastening halfway up the leg to create long shorts. I have one pair of these for a couple of years and no matter what I've done the material has never shown any signs of wear and tear. They are extremely made, no tears, no fraying at the seams. My only gripe is the pockets. I think it would be better to make all the pockets zipped, rather than just one small zipped pocket. 04 January 2014
ortler walking trousers I have had a pair of these trousers for some time - they are so comfortable and dry so quickly that I bought another pair in case you stopped selling them. If they were available in a different colour ie khaki, lovatt or blue then I would certainly be interested in another pair. 22 October 2013
