Arc'teryx Women's Gamma MX Hoody
Excellent versatile jacket
I don't normally write reviews, but I literally haven't taken this jacket off since I bought it. I have worn it as a mid- and outer layer for skiing (warm March days), mountaineering, and around town on a fair Spring day. It seems to keep me warm or cool depending on what I need; I'm not sure how it achieves this but perhaps it is a magic jacket. I have paired it with a hardshell and with a thin down jacket depending on the conditions. The hood is nice and flexible and I have changed it a few times depending on whether there is a hat, helmet or nothing underneath. It also has a nice tailored fit which is a relief for me as I have quite big boobs and most outdoor gear I have to get a size up and it looks really baggy. Plus the material stretches nicely as you move so it feels really comfortable. Finally the colour would pretty much suit anyone - nice and warm without being too sickly girly and pink.

Excellent as you would expect from Arc'teryx
This is the first Arc'teryx item I have ever bought - i'd mainly avoided it because of the price but in the absence of any other soft shell type jackets in the shop at the time (wrong season to be looking!) I bit the bullet and spent the money on it. Having worn it for a few weeks, I can now appreciate the difference in quality and would definitely buy Arc'teryx again.
It fits where it should, the hood is a brilliant size and is fully adjustable. I found out one day by accident, it's waterproof!!
It's got the added bonus of being a really nice colour - just that little bit different

Just love it! Such a versatile jacket for all my outdoor activities including cycling and golf
I take this jacket just about everywhere. I do alot of outside activities - walking, cycling and golf - and I use this jacketed for absolutely everything. I'm also a keen skier but not tried it for skiing yet but probably more likely to use it as a casual jacket in the ski resort rather than skiing although I can imagine it will be great for spring skiing.
