Arc'teryx Men's Zeta AR Jacket
arc'teryx mens zeta SR jacket
excellent product. Thin layered and a more slim fit type of jacket.
Long enough at the back to prevent snow and moisture coming up. Only issue is that you will need waterproof phone case as moisture gets into the pockets and cashing condensation on the phone screen. But all in all the best of the choice for cold, wet and snow type conditions.

Light but very durable.
This was bought for my 15 year old son as his first serious ski jacket. Arc'teryx has long been known for its quality and this jacket covered all bases. The 2014/15 ski season has been so varied that we faced a lot of high winds/snow storms, rain and bright warm sun with pemperatures rangiung from -10 wind chill to +15 . With an inner jacket [ Rab also purchased from Snow and Rock] this worked very well indeed. The jacket i feel can work all year round for hiking or general wear after sports matches.

Great product at a good price
I found this jacket on snowandrock for £150, which is a greatly reduced price from £300 in a clearance sale. The delivery was quick and there was no hitches.
I love the Arc'teryx line: it's typically priceyâbut this is always compensated by the quality of materials and craftsmanship.
I'm currently using the Zeta while travelling across Europe, camping and trekking. It's compact and lightweight which is an immediate bonus. Being Gor-Tex, it provides absolute protection against the rain. I've found when wearing the Zeta in chilly temperatures, even without any thermal layer, it helps maintain the body temperature, this is largely due to it being windproof, with adjustable Velcro straps around the wrists and elastic cord around the hips to insulate.
Gor-Tex's waterproof properties actually improve over time, with use and cleaning, similar to leather. The material naturally breathes, so any excess heat and moisture is relieved.
All together making this is an extremely versatile product that can be used in multiple situations.
It's comfortable, practical, and will last you a lifetime with care.
Considering the qualities it offers, I think it's definitely worth the cost.

Great garment at a great price
I am absolutely delighted with the Zeta AR jacket. Having resolutely bought Berghaus products for many many years I felt it was time for a change....I only wish I'd done it sooner. Great fit and great quality

Well I have a number of Arcteryx jackets as I consider them to be the best in class for all outdoor pursuits - I wanted the Zeta as a Light Walking Jacket and I do not like hoods - I have an Alpha LT LEAF which is awesome but heavy, and a squeamish which is very light and not 100% waterproof, but nearly - so the Zeta is the a great jacket, small, light and completely waterproof, and for me I like the cuffs and zips as they tend to let you down on other jackets. The other thing I like about the jacket is the fit, lets face it just looks good, and comfortable, when hiking its my first choice until late in the year when I go back to the Alpha. Great jacket.

Good combination of performance and style. Urban and hill in one
Having had a RAB jacket and worn it to pieces I wanted a more resilient waterproof for hill walking .
Every year my son and I do a wild camping holiday on the Isle of Skye so we need full hardy kit.
I had not heard of Arcteryx before but my wife had so I decided to give it a go and have not been disappointed.

Well made and functional - a quality product
The jacket is a light weight waterproof and breathable outer shell. It is ideal for layering base layers and mid layers which can then be adjusted to match the weather. The waterproof qualities of the seams and zips are good as one would expect from this make. The length at the rear is just right to cover waterproof trousers properly when active. Articulation around the shoulders and elbows is excellent.

An Excellent Shell Jacket
Wanted one of these for a while, tried one on in a shop and loved it but had to wait until my Paclite TNF Summit Series shell wore out. I was hesitant at first as when it arrived it was very loud! Lots of scrunching when worn, I told myself the one in the shop was fine and persevered, good job to as after a few outings it calmed down a lot! I only wanted a 2-3 season shell to wear over a soft shell when the rain was fierce (my soft shell is brilliant but the zips are not waterproof and on occasion it has let rain through the fabric as well). this jacket is excellent, the quality of manufacture is first rate, good enough to temp me away from trusted brands like TNF. It is a simple jacket and that is what gives so much confidence that it won't leak. I really like the zip in hood, I am always in two minds about a hood, I love them and hate them. One thing I hate it having it loose when not being worn, or stuffed uncomfortably in a collar pocket. The smart zip away hood is both cool and practical and easy to deploy when worn one handed. Bearing all of this in mind it still doesn't explain the outlandish price!!!!!
