A Fantastic jacket! A review is a good thing to read & do because reading the review of this jacket prompted me to go out & try it on & purchase & I cant tell you how happy I was to have done so! all the reviews I read were spot on! I cant talk highly enough of this jacket, very, very comfy, light, warm, stylish, I've yet to test it to the limit but I will this winter in the welsh mountains & the lake district, the weather, lately (Cheshire) has gone a lot cooler but with just a base layer or t-shirt under this jacket I have been more than comfortable perhaps maybe a little too warm at times! which is not a bad thing! I definitely recommend trying this jacket on if you are in the market like I was to replace an existing mid layer/fleece or maybe like I will because of its tiny pack size just to carry with to put on as a summit layer, I highly recommend this great jacket! 07 October 2014
Very warm for its weight Used as a mid layer for skiing under a goretex pro shell. Plenty of warmth and thoughtful features ( eg no insulation under the arms, soft fleece lining for neck prevent rub ) make this a really comfy jacket to wear all day, By itself around the resort, the pockets are big enough for today's "essentials" iPhones and blackberrys, as well as a few piste maps and snack bars ! Definitely would recommend. The insulation is very performant even when damp eg, on a raining / sleeting day. A bit pricey, but probably worth it due to versatility. Also packs incredibly small. 16 April 2014
Excellent as a midlayer or outer. Worn this jacket as a midlayer for trekking around in Wales and as an outer layer cycling and around town. It's very warm for its weight and for a jacket that's not specifically advertised as such it is surprisingly water resistant. It fits snugly which is ideal as it doesn't bunch up under an outer jacket but doesn't limit movement at all. (I'm 5'10 and fairly slim wearing a medium.) One thing i particularly like is the fleece type lining of the collar covers the top of the zipper. I've found with other zip up jackets without this that the zip can scratch when its fully done up. Although it doesn't come with its own stuff sack i find it fits easily into a 1.5ltr drybag and due to its minimal weight can be practically carried around during most activities. 10 February 2014

Ideal for purpose Bought as a Christmas Present for experienced skier (13 years) and very well received. 31 December 2013
high performance product This is one of the best activity products bought. Extremely light but exceptionally warm with good water repellent properties. The fit is perfect. 27 May 2013
Great product for skiing, hiking and cycling One the most versatile and high quality products I've bought. Ive always been impressed with Arc'teryx product quality and this is no different. Light, good fitting but ver warm. Perfect mid layer to wear under a shell to ski - stops me getting both cold or too hot. Deceptively warm on its own. Very pleased with this. Not fully waterproof but i dont think its designed as a wet weather out layer 07 December 2012
Lovely feel and lightweight Not worn much Arc'teryx before. Usually buy Icebreaker. However pleasantly surprised how quickly the garment warmed me up when I changed indoors after having got cold cycling in the rain. Very soft and comfortable. Don't know abouit durability as have only washed it once - only a couple of weeks old and not particularly cold yet. Will be worn for walking over the winter. 25 October 2012
