This really ticks all the boxes for top quality outdoor wear. Light enough to pack away for the summer, totally wind and waterproof for layering in winter. A must for any outdoor pursuit

Great price for a great jacket!
I bought this jacket after a holiday. I wore a Paclite Goretex jacket during a downpour in Florence, and to say it leaked was an understatement. Hubby had treated himself to a lovely new Goretex jacket before we went, he was nice & dry, so when I got home I decided to do the same. Snow & Rock had this jacket at a fantastic saving, and although I haven't had a chance to wear it much recently it is a great jacket, light and oozes quality.

The weight and feel of this jacket is brilliant.
Arcteryx has produced a light and very effective jacket.

Nice fit and functional
This jacket is a great mix of very good functionality, it keeps you dry, it's comfortable to wear and it looks good. It has got a nice shape and cut. Great also for the shorter woman.

This Jacket is Superior Quality
I love this jacket. I have had the same type before and loved it but unfortunately ripped it (through my own fault), even then I had it for four years.
The jacket is lightweight and durable and the water proofing is the best I have had. I love the colour - it is great to be able to get a girly colour in the jacket I love.
The hood is also great as it is big so I can wear it over a helmet but the adjustable elastics make it possible to have it fit tightly around your face when it is really wet.
The pockets are big so it is easy to stuff a map in them when it starts to rain and there is also a great inside pocket for phone/money, etc.
The fit is good, I went a size up so that I can wear fleeces or my down jacket underneath which is perfect for that purpose.
Overall I am very happy with both the jacket itself and the supplier.

Waterproof jacket that keeps you cool, so you can work hard.
I bought this jacket to use on the 3 Peaks Challenge in July. We actually had great weather but I still needed the jacket on the top of Ben Nevis and Skafell Pike for protection from the wind. It has a great fit so I could feel comfortable whilst still walking and climbing, no overheating because of pit zips. I love the colour and style as well so I could feel stylish but still practical. It's pretty expensive but it's really well made I suspect it's going to last me 8-10yrs so that makes it worth the initial outlay. It's a great colour and I can use it for work when I go on home visits too. An excellent jacket.

top quality waterproof gortex pro.
Although I loved this jacket , great colour, I had to return it as the fit was not good on me, far to big on shoulders and across chest (even after allowing for layering) and to narrow at the hip.after trying several others with the same problem I finally purchased the theta AR which is slightly longer, both jkts incredibly well made and completely waterproof with gortex pro, lightweight and packs down small.

I love this jacket. The quality of the workmanship is great, the materials feel and look really good quality, and the colour, fit, and look of the jacket just look really good. Like a lot of Arc'teryx jackets this is a figure hugging fit, so I would certainly recommend trying it on before choosing a size.
I'm quite a fan of Arc'teryx gear generally and this coat is typical Arc'teryx, looks good, very high tech, and great quality. Sure, it isn't cheap, but all of the Arc'teryx gear I've had in the past has worn well and looked good for years, so I think you get what you pay for.
You could easily wear this coat for skiing with a decent base and mid layer, but being uninsulated it is also perfectly good for use as a waterproof in warmer climes.
Only slight criticism is the pocket configuration, as this only has one small internal pocket and the two chest pockets. I actually don't mind this too much, but if you want big pockets then this might not be for you. Big pockets would spoil the cut and look of the coat, so I see this as the price you pay for the overall look of the jacket.
