I have been looking for a very long time for a coat bringing to the business world the functions and features of outdoor products. I finally found it in this coat.
It is just perfect!
Waterproof and breathable: 20.000 mm waterproofness, 20.000 g/24 h breathability are comparable to high-end outdoor products
Light due a Primaloft liner
Ideal for travelling when weather conditions at destination are different: liner and hood are removable
Look : 100% business compatible, still does not look misplaced if you use outdoor for walking
Fit: It is a tailored fit. Perfect for me as I was not looking for an ugly baggy loose-fit coat.
I surely can recommend it.

The coat fits snugly and is extremely warm but flexible for the summer. My only complaint would be that I find the zips on this and the previous one that I bought from you and Uber hard to engage sometimes as the two receiving parts are difficult to engage when fully clothed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NordicStef Not exactly fit for purpose
I went to the Covent Garden store today to try this on as I liked the look of it online and on the original uberfunction website. Generally I love luxe technical urban clothing - Massimo Osti variants, Prada Sport etc. I also love hi-tec activity wear with breathability and DWR - so this seemed a perfect fit. It is described as 'Luxury' which it isn't really - the outer fabric ruffles, shows up lots of dust in the store, is an odd shade of dark grey (not black really), and does most definitely not look or feel luxe. The zips aren't right for this concept, and the adjusters are basic plastic. This is supposed to be a smart jacket for business wear - as a replacement for a more traditional mac, but it is not nearly smart enough to be fit for purpose, and actually seems a little overpriced for what it is. The outer fabric is a major turn-off really ...

I walked into Snow & Rock and was immediately captivated by collar badge on this jacket: 'Outdoor Technology + City Tailoring'. Those words echoed exactly what I was going to ask the assistant for!
After I recovered from the initial £550 price tag shock and started settling into this overcoat, I noticed that it does not have a single bad angle or any superfluous details/features. In terms of form and function it is a superb product #said by a design engineer#. As might be expected from it's Scandinavian origin, it deals exceptionally well with whichever combination of wind/rain/low temperature. Also, collars up/down, thermal liner in/removed, over a suit/casualwear, it manage to retain it's classy look.
The magnets are a cool detail which have however inspired some work mates to start calling me 'Magneto' #the bad guy from x-Men#! Granted, one has to be slightly careful how close they get to metallic items like shop shutters or street furniture, but that is a very slight issue with what is otherwise a superbly conceived and developed product.
